Keira RobertsonAfter graduating from The University of Sussex (Social Anthropology with German) I worked as a project assistant for the environmental organisation ICLEI (International Council for Local Environmental Initiatives). I was based at their European Headquarters in Southern Germany , but also assisted them at the UN World Summit on Sustainable Development in South Africa. This was followed by a period in Seville learning Spanish and then a year at the European Film College (Denmark) where I focused on documentary filmmaking. Most recently I directed a short documentary, Dulce o Amargo, which explores the significance of drinking mate (a tea-like beverage) among a group of Argentinian expatriates in Copenhagen. My involvement in sustainable development and interest in South American culture led me to develop the initial idea for Beneath the Clouds. Contact: keira@beneaththeclouds.com |
Martha HensonI was working at the BBC when I became involved with Beneath The Clouds and left the corporation to work on this project. I have worked in factual programming for the last few years, in all areas of pre-production from research to production management. At the BBC I received training in DV camera operating and Sound which came in pretty handy whilst filming in South America. Since we came back from Ecuador, I have been working freelance as an editor and camera operator for various companies. I also do the odd bit of web design and flash animation.
